Biographical Info
Vic Truscelli began his marching career as a trumpet player and eventual drum major of his high school band in Fort Lee, New Jersey, and was the Color Guard Captain for the Rough Riders Drum and Bugle Corps from Fairview, NJ. Over the years he has continued to be active as an instructor, designer, and judge. He has served as the visual designer for The Spirit of Newark as well as the Greeneville Presidents Drum and Bugle Corps, and was the director and designer of the 1995 WGI Finalist Legend Winterguard of Maryville, Tennessee. He began his judging career with the Southeastern Color Guard Circuit in 1982, and has continued as a marching band consultant and adjudicator for the Kentucky Music Educators Association, CIPA, The Musical Arts Conference, USBands, the East Coast Judges Guild, and DCA. A retired high school counselor and administrator, he most recently has served as Chief Judge and Contest Coordinator for the East Tennessee Performing Arts Association. He is trained and certified by KMEA, USBands, TBA, and WGI. His home is in Louisville, Tennessee.
