Biographical Info

Todd Chamberlain is the director of bands at Morton Middle School and Cassidy Elementary School in the Fayette Co. Public Schools in Lexington, KY.  Mr. Chamberlain is completing his 25th year of teaching. A 1991 graduate of Henderson Co. HS in Henderson, KY, he studied horn at the University of Kentucky with David Elliott while earning a bachelor’s degree in instrumental music education in 1995. Mr. Chamberlain earned a Master’s degree in Music Education from Southern Oregon University in 2002 as part of the American Band College.  Mr. Chamberlain has held band director positions at Harrodsburg High and Middle Schools, Louisville Southern High School, East Jessamine High and Middle Schools, and Henry Clay High School before coming to Morton Middle School in 2009. His bands have earned consistent Distinguished ratings in concert band and marching band and the Morton Middle Band was a featured ensemble at the University of Kentucky Middle School Band Invitational in 2012. Mr. Chamberlain serves as the KMEA Band Assessment Manager for the Lexington Assessment district. He is also active as a contest judge, drill writer, and consultant for marching bands in Kentucky.  For references on past adjudication please contact:
