Biographical Info

Jeremy Loui is a musician, educator, and marching band drill designer. He is the Assistant Director of Bands/Assistant Director of Athletic Bands at Western Carolina University. Previously, he served as the Director of Bands and Performing Arts Department Chair at Rockwood Summit High School in Fenton, Missouri. Jeremy holds a Master’s degree in conducting from Missouri State University. At Missouri State, he worked with the 300-member Pride Marching as well as the various concert ensembles, including the Wind Ensemble, Wind Symphony, and concert band.

In addition to working as a band director since 2016, Jeremy has served on the instructional faculty at Illinois Summer Youth Music and works as a freelance marching band designer and drill writer for schools across the country. He has designed for bands from Florida to Hawaii, Texas to Illinois, and all sorts of places in between! Check out the Marching Band Design page for more information and videos of past shows. Jeremy is also currently on the Visual Staff with The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps and was named a Bluecoats Fellow with the Bluecoats Drum and Bugle Corps. Jeremy frequently adjudicates middle school and high school music events.
