Question: Do you judge smaller classes like classes 1 and 2 A easier than 3, 4,and 5 A or are they judged the same as every one else?

Answer: Simply put, all of the classes should be judged exactly the same. The criteria listed on the back of the scoresheets is the same for every class, so everyone should be evaluated using the same rubric. The only market where I’ve seen adjustments made for class size is in Indiana, where the district qualifying score for Classes C & D (the smaller classes) is normally 4-6 points lower than that of Classes A & B.
