My name is Joe, and I work in marketing and as a graphic designer for Pearison, Inc. (parent company of Band Shoppe, Superior Cheer, and Embroidery Direct). I wanted to make the marching-arts community in Kentucky aware of an upcoming modeling casting call that is happening in June for girls ages 10-22, and guys ages 16-22.
Currently, there is a high demand for male and female models for upcoming projects geared towards the marching arts and athletic apparel markets . We will need talent for band and color guard immediately, and also for gigs that might come up periodically throughout the year. There is no pay for the casting; however, if selected for live projects models will be paid $50 per hour. Shoots usually last anywhere from a few hours up to about 5 or 6 with snacks and meals provided. It’s actually pretty laid back. If selected you basically show up, get prepped in hair and makeup, walk onto the set, work with amazing photographers in a state of the art facility, and rinse/repeat until the shoot is done.
The following link: http://www.studiocolortek.com/casting
will take you to our casting website that has been set up by our photography gurus at Studio C in St. Louis. There you can find more information, dates/times, requirements, and maps to the casting location. If you play an instrument, bring that along! If you play snare, be ready to show us what you’ve got. If you spin or dance, bring your equipment and personality! Basically…show off a little and have fun doing whatever it is you love about performing/marching. Just a note, all models under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. If you come with a group, at least one parent must be present.
Please read all the information carefully on the casting site, and if you still have questions feel free to email me atjmartinez@pearison.com or the folks at Studio C-info@studiocolortek.com
Thanks!
