Why are there no pictures of my band?

Answer: In most cases this is because no one has submitted a picture to the website. If you have submitted a picture after the photo galleries have been posted, it may be a few days before the photo gallery is updated. Pictures should be submitted as .jpg files. Pictures sent in other forms such as .bmp will have to be converted and will take longer before they are posted. Large files take some time to upload or to send via email. If you send large files they will be resized before they are posted online. Please give your picture file names that are the same as your band. Do not name them “pictures from the XYZ contest”, name them “Abc County 1, Abc County 2, etc.” Close up pictures or action shots in full band uniform are preferred over casual shots.

Email your pictures as attachments to email to mail@kyband.com.

Pictures will posted on the facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/kyband?v=photos) soon after they are received. The actual photo gallery will be updated during and after the marching season.
